PMTC SAC387 Solder Spheres are Pb-free Tin/Silver/Copper Sn95.5Ag3.8Cu0.7 Industry standard solder spheres for BGA and CSP components used by companies who have made the transition to Lead-free (Pb-free) soldering.

Profound Materials was founded in 2000 to manufacture and market tin-lead solder spheres for the microelectronics industry. The company has expanded to occupy a 2,100m2 (22,600 sq.ft.) facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan where it now manufactures the widest range of solder ball offering with the tightest diameter tolerance to its customers. Early in 2006, Profound Materials achieved its TS 16949:2002 certification and now develops and manufactures its own line of low alpha ball and electro-plating solder spheres.
