CAPLINQ LINQSTAT VCF-S Series Electrically Conductive Plastic Sheeting is a black, carbon-filled, volume-conductive polyethylene film designed to provide both physical and static protection. The family is made up of LINQSTAT VCF-Series which is a low-level electrically conductive plastic with a surface resistance of less than 100,000 ohms-per-square (10E5 Ω/square. CAPLINQ LINQSTAT VCF-Series conductive films and their conductivity are unaffected by humidity and age.
Since they do not hold static charge when grounded, LINQSTAT is commonly used as waste container drum liners for holding explosive chemicals that could be ignited by a static-caused spark, or dry chemicals, that tend to cling to ordinary nonconductive static laden plastics.
The film and its conductivity are unaffected by humidity and age. The film is heat-sealable, flexible and offers exceptional abrasion resistance. The film gives good thermal stability and has outstanding chemical resistance. It is often used in the ordnance industry (an industry that deals with military equipment, specifically weapons and ammunitions) as waste container liners. It's easy to understand that ignitable ammunition and static charges don't mix well, so these LINQSTAT bags are great for these applications. The conductive bags meet electrical requirements of the military specification MIL-P-82646A.
LINQSTAT has a standard thickness range from 65µm to 200µm (0.0025" to 0.008") and is available in sheeting, tubing, V-fold and C-fold versions. Roll lengths and widths vary depending on thickness and application. Other variations may be available.

|Using a simple laminator, two 4mil sheets of Linqstat volume conductive film material (a 3M Velostat Alternative) are laminated together to form a single 8mil film. This can be done if only 4mil sheets are available, or if smaller quantities of 8mil sheeting is desired.|
