CAPLINQ's LINQTAPE™ PIT-Series Tapes are polyimide tapes that can be compared to DuPont's Kapton® tape and can be used in the same high temperatures for applications as Kapton® tape is used. This includes semiconductors, smartcard, electronic, automotive and general manufacturing industries.

The Polyimide Tape comes in 33 meter (36 yard) rolls of varying widths and can be used for applications which may see temperatures up to 260°C (500°F).

Typical applications and uses include:

Temporary bonding of thermocouples for oven profiling
Bonding of devices prior to solder reflow
Masking in high temperature powder coating applications
High Temperature Harness Wrapping
Gold Finger Masking
Coil Insulation
Insulating circuit boards
