On June 1st, 2007, the Euro­pean REACH Reg­u­la­tion (EC1907/2006) start­ed in the Euro­pean Union.

Basi­cal­ly, the goal of REACH is to have an overview of chem­i­cal sub­stances that are import­ed into the EU.
