Import cosmetics into Europe with a REACH only representative

REACH rep­re­sen­ta­tive reg­u­la­tion con­sid­ers also cos­met­ics as chem­i­cal sub­stances. So, to import cos­met­ics into the Euro­pean Union, all for­eign cos­met­ics man­u­fac­tur­ers must com­ply with REACH regulations.

The require­ments for cos­met­ics indus­tries include, but are not lim­it­ed to: pre-reg­is­tra­tion of sub­stances and ingre­di­ents, chem­i­cal test­ing and eval­u­a­tion, reg­is­tra­tion of sub­stances, man­age­ment of sup­ply chain, man­age­ment of down­stream users, and pos­si­ble restric­tion or noti­fi­ca­tion require­ments for chem­i­cals in their products.

And, this means that all indus­tries that wish to sell their prod­ucts in Euro­pean union must have a REACH rep­re­sen­ta­tive in Europe.
