DK15EG-05 Green is an epoxy-based coating powder developed for the insulation of motor armatures and stators. It offers cut-through temperature resistance and is flex-fuel (unleaded gasoline and methanol) resistant. DK15EG-05 Green is designed to be applied by an electrostatic fluid bed process, offering fast cure in an induction coil curing process. Particle size is tailored to provide low dusting levels.
DK15EG-05 Green is flex-fuel (gasohol, gasoline/ethanol blend) resistant, Class F rated epoxy powder coating for slot insulation of automotive fuel pump motor armatures and stators. It works extremely well for both AC and DC electric motors, including those used for in-tank fuel pumps. The coating provides superior flex-fuel resistance, edge coverage, and high impact strength. High cut through temperature serves to protect the motor even at high operating temperatures. DK15EG-05 is designed for electrostatic fluid bed application, and DK15EG-05 is tested and qualified for UL EIS 1446 155°C (Class F) rating.
DK15EG-05 is available in both black and green color. It is used for over 20 years by major manufactures of automotive enclosures, fuel pumps, windshield wipers, seat adjusters and other, DK15EG-05 provides a smooth surface appearance with high edge coverage. Particle size is optimized for high productivity on an electrostatic fluidized bed coating process including Braun Sondermaschinen.

Specific gravity (SG) is the ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance; equivalently, it is the ratio of the mass of a substance to the mass of a reference substance for the same given volume.
For liquids, the reference substance is almost always water (1), while for gases, it is air (1.18) at room temperature. Specific gravity is unitless.

| Dielectric Strength |
Dielectric strength is measured in kV per mm and is calculated by the Breakdown voltage divided by the thickness of the tested material.
Those two properties go hand in hand and while Breakdown voltage is always thickness dependent, dielectric strength is a general material property.
As an example, the dielectric strength of Polyimide is 236 kV/mm. If we place 1mm of Polyimide between two electrodes, it will act as an insulator until the voltage between the electrodes reaches 236 kV. At this point it will start acting as a good conductor, causing sparks, potential punctures and current flow.

This value is the distance in millimetres from the upper point of the original position of the pellet to the point of extreme flow.
