General Philosophy

Nobody's perfect, and at CAPLINQ, we don't pretend to be either. Mistakes happen and when they do communications are misinterpreted and orders can go out incorrectly. We try our best to automate as much of the order procedure as possible to minimize mistakes, but when they do happen, we want you to know that we'll do our best to set it right again.

Below are our "legalese" required statements, but contact us at any time if there is any trouble and we'll do our best to keep you a satisfied customer.

Pricing Policy

CAPLINQ offers you consistently low prices on every item in our store. All prices are (mostly) listed in U.S. dollars. You may be able to pay in either the local currency of your card or in USD.

Price Matching

We believe that CAPLINQ.com will offer you the best prices on the market.

If however you do find a better price elsewhere, please show us where and we will match the price and give you 15% off a future purchases.

List Prices

Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, excluding any taxes; state, federal, GST, VAT, BTW or otherwise.

Ordering

All orders specify the product's specific dimensions. Please double-check these at time of checkout to make sure that they reflect what you really want to order. Orders below that amount will be brought up to that amount.  All purchases made through this website will reflect the name CAPLINQ Corporation.

Price & Delivery

We try to put as much information and volume price breaks on the website as possible, but we will never be able to account for every case. Send us an email if you have a specific order quantity / price that you would like us to quote on.  All price quotations are valid for 15 days. Clerical errors are subject to correction.

Volume Discounts

We want your business and will work hard to get it. We offer additional discounts on large orders of a single product. If you are purchasing items for a corporation or institution, please be sure to visit our corporate accounts section.

Terms

We're working on adding as many payment methods as possible, but for now, Credit cards, Paypal, Wire Transfers and Purchase Orders (on prior approval) are accepted.  To open account, please send us banking information plus three credit reference. Invoice payments are due in thirty days from the date of the invoice. No statement will be issued.

Taxes

CAPLINQ is primarily a business-to-business company, so the prices listed exclude all taxes (federal, state, GST, VAT, MwST and BTW). The prices listed are (generally) in USD, but are valid for deliveries worldwide, including Canada, USA, Europe, South America and Asia. Invoices can be converted into EUR or CAD as requested. Taxes will be added to each invoice unless you have provided your Tax ID number that allows us to waive the taxes for your purchase.

Warranties

The data on this website is based on the information that we believe to be reliable and offered in good faith. We make no warranties express or implied as to its accuracy and assume no responsibilities or liabilities arising out of its use by others. The user must determine the suitability of the product and conformity of compliance before using it. In no event, we are responsible for special, incidental and/or consequential damages whether the claim is in contract, negligence or otherwise.

Cancellations

Orders for special product or for items not ordinarily stocked may not be cancelled or returned without our written permission. If they are cancelled, these orders may be subject to a cancellation or a restocking charge of 15 percent or more, depending on circumstances.

Transportation

The prices are ex-works CAPLINQ and freight charges apply as follows:

  • Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa: ex-works CAPLINQ Netherlands (Amsterdam)
  • Canada, USA, Mexico and South America: ex-works CAPLINQ Canada (Ottawa)
Unless otherwise noted, delivery service is by Priority national post (ie. Canada Post, USPS, TNT Post or similar). CAPLINQ reserves the right to determine the shipping carrier and ship-from location.

Discrepancies

It is important that if there are any discrepancies in a shipment or product specifications, whether it be quantity, price or part number, sizes or dimensions, it must be reported NO LATER THAN 72 HOURS FROM RECEIPT OF THE SHIPMENT. CAPLINQ assumes that merchandise was received in accordance with the packing slip unless we are notified within 72 hours of the receipt date.

Returns

Prior to returning any merchandise, please send an email to info@caplinq.com asking for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number. We reserve the right to charge a restocking and/or handling charge (deducted from the reimbursement) in cases where it clearly makes sense to do so. Under no circumstances we will accept returns after the 7th business day of shipment. You can cancel this order within three days after we have received it. Items should be returned in their original packaging.
