The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EPX™ Mixing Nose is a disposable mixing accessory designed for use with 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesives and concrete repair compounds in Duo-Pak (DP) cartridges. When attached to a compatible cartridge and dispensed through a standard caulk gun or EPX applicator, the mixing nose simultaneously meters, mixes, and delivers both components in a single operation, producing a thoroughly blended material at the point of application without manual mixing.
The tapered tip can be cut to adjust bead width for more precise placement in different joint and repair geometries. Once an application is complete, the used mixing nose can be left in place on the cartridge, where the mixed material inside cures and hardens to seal the outlet and protect the remaining adhesive until next use.
