ABchimie 9111 UV Glue
- One-component
- Fast UV Curing
- Adhesion to many substrates
Product Description
ABChimie® 9111UV Glue is a soft, clear glue designed for the bonding of multiple substrates, including glass, metals, and plastics. Its viscosity allows for controlled application with high thicknesses (up to 4mm) without sagging. These qualities make ABChimmie 9111UV Glue ideal for small components with high-volume production, requiring adhesion between multiple substrates and optical transparency.
ABChimie 9111UV Glue is a urethane acrylate-based product with excellent adhesion to various substrates, including flexible materials such as plastics. It cures rapidly under UV light, has zero VOCs, and can be applied to high-speed manufacturing processes to increase productivity. ABChimmie 9111UV Glue is in full compliance with REACH and RoHS regulations.

| Viscosity Viscosity Viscosity is a measurement of a fluid’s resistance to flow. Viscosity is commonly measured in centiPoise (cP). One cP is defined as the viscosity of water and all other viscosities are derived from this base. MPa is another common unit with a 1:1 conversion to cP. A product like honey would have a much higher viscosity -around 10,000 cPs- compared to water. As a result, honey would flow much slower out of a tipped glass than water would. The viscosity of a material can be decreased with an increase in temperature in order to better suit an application | 10000 mPa.s |

| Adhesion Strength Adhesion Strength Adhesion is the bond strength measurement of a coating to a substrate. When an adhesive is bonded to an item or surface, numerous physical, mechanical and chemical forces come into play, which may have an effect on each other. | 8354 Oz/in |

Frequently Asked Questions About ABChimie® 9111 UV
What are typical applications for ABChimie® 9111 UV?
ABChimie® 9111 UV is a UV-curable glue designed for the bonding and protection of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs) and electronic components in demanding manufacturing environments, including:
Automotive electronics (e.g., control units, sensors)
Industrial automation (e.g., motor drives, PLCs)
Consumer electronics (e.g., smart devices, wearables)
Other high-reliability electronic assemblies
What is the shelf life of ABChimie® 9111 UV?
ABChimie® 9111 UV has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at 5–30°C in tightly sealed, opaque containers. The product must be sealed away from excessive heat (>40°C). Before use, allow the product to equilibrate for 24 hours at 18–32°C for optimal performance. Due to settling, glue should be mixed before use.
What is the recommended curing method for ABChimie® 9111 UV?
ABChimie® 9111 UV is UV-curable and should be cured with a mercury lamp. The minimum UVA dose is 500 mJ/cm² for a 100 μm thickness. The LED-curable version is ABChimie® 9111 UV LED. Higher UVA doses do not negatively affect final properties.
Learn More About ABChimie® 9111 UV
ABChimie® 9111 UV is a proven solution for engineers seeking fast, reliable protection of electronic assemblies in demanding manufacturing environments. This UV-curable resin delivers rapid curing, excellent electrical insulation, and strong environmental resistance—ideal for applications in automotive electronics, industrial automation, consumer electronics, and other high-reliability assemblies.
Main Advantages of ABChimie 9111 UV
ABChimie® 9111 UV cures rapidly under UV light, enabling integration into both batch and inline production. The resin forms a durable, high-performance layer that protects assemblies while supporting high-throughput manufacturing.
ABChimie® 9111 UV provides excellent mechanical protection. The hardness helps resist scratches, abrasion, and minor impacts, ensuring long-term stability of encapsulated components.
ABChimie® 9111 UV is thixotropic: it maintains a stable, non-running consistency at rest but flows easily under shear during application. This ensures precise placement, minimal sagging, and uniform coverage before rapid UV curing.
ABChimie® 9111 UV bonds strongly to flexible substrates, including plastics and polymer-based PCBs. Its adhesion ensures reliable protection even on surfaces that bend or flex, ideal for wearables, flexible electronics, and lightweight assemblies.
