Product Description
ALPHA SC-7525 Cleaner is a chemically active solvent developed to effectively replace isopropyl alcohol (IPA) in various manual and equipment cleaning applications.
SC-7525 is a blend of alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and orange terpenes. The combination of polar and non-polar components makes it especially suitable for removing all types of solder paste residues from stencils and misprinted printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Product Key Features
- High-performance alternative to Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
- Highly effective at dissolving and removing all types of solder paste from stencils and misprinted assemblies.
Applications
- Suitable for use in various manual and equipment-related cleaning processes.
Technical Specifications
| General Properties | |
| Appearance Appearance Appearance at room temperature. | Colorless to slight yellow |
| Specific Gravity Specific Gravity Specific gravity (SG) is the ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance; equivalently, it is the ratio of the mass of a substance to the mass of a reference substance for the same given volume. For liquids, the reference substance is almost always water (1), while for gases, it is air (1.18) at room temperature. Specific gravity is unitless. | 0.7868 |
| Thermal Properties | |
| Flash Point Flash Point The flashpoint of a solvent is the lowest possible temperature at which it can vaporize to form an ignitable vapor. Flashpoint is often confused with “autoignition temperature”, which is the temperature at which a solvent ignites without an ignition source. | 15.6 °C |
