Harmonization Code : 8001.20 | Unwrought tin: Tin alloys
Main features
- Fast wetting
- Excellent solderability
- Very good drainage
Product Description
ALPHA SAC305 Solder Bar is a high-performance, lead-free alloy designed as a direct replacement for the industry-standard Sn63Pb37. It is the flagship of the SAC series (Tin-Silver-Copper), widely recognized for its excellent wetting characteristics and joint reliability in wave soldering and surface mount applications.
Product Key Features
- Produced using the proprietary Vaculoy alloying process, which removes impurities—specifically oxides—to ensure low drossing and high-quality solder joints.
- Fully lead-free and suitable for modern electronics manufacturing where environmental standards are a priority.
- Fast wetting, in back to back tests 0.65s compared to 1.00s, for Sn/Cu-based materials
- Excellent solderability due to fast wetting speed
Applications
- Wave and selective soldering applications

| Specific Heat Capacity Specific Heat Capacity Specific heat capacity is the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of a substance per unit of mass. The specific heat capacity of a material is a physical property. It is also an example of an extensive property since its value is proportional to the size of the system being examined. | 0.232 J/(g⋅°C) | ||||
