Application Methods

HumiSeal® 1A33 SEC is engineered primarily for atomized spray application. Its shear-responsive viscosity provides excellent edge coverage without requiring dilution.

  • Spraying (Recommended): Designed to reach application viscosity under shear, enabling smooth atomized spray coating. No additional thinner is required for standard operation.

  • Dipping: Possible but not the primary method. Coating behavior may vary depending on component density—ensure controlled withdrawal to avoid excess buildup.

  • Brushing: Suitable for local touch-up or repair. As with all polyurethane coatings, uniformity depends on operator technique.

Important Notes:

  • Surfaces must be free of moisture, grease, flux residues, and contaminants
  • No thinning is required for spray application due to built-in shear thinning characteristics
  • Allow product to equilibrate for 24 hours at ambient conditions before use
  • Perform validation prior to full production use

HumiSeal® 1A33 SEC is compatible with common PCB substrates and electronic assemblies used in automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics.
