The standard ATG 700 applicator accepts rolls up to 55 meters long in widths of 9 mm, 12 mm, and 19 mm. The yellow body is the original and most widely used configuration in the Scotch® ATG range, suitable for light to heavy industrial assembly, packaging, graphics, and print applications. Compatible with the full range of Scotch® ATG adhesive transfer tape formulations. Tape rolls are sold separately.

Hand Dispenser Adapter Kit — 6 mm Rolls

Adapter accessory that enables an ATG 700 applicator to dispense narrow 6 mm adhesive transfer tape rolls

The ATG 700 Hand Dispenser Adapter Kit is an accessory for use with an existing ATG 700 applicator body. Inserting the adapter allows the applicator to accept and dispense 6 mm wide Scotch® ATG transfer tape rolls, extending the system's capability to narrow bonding applications and tight geometry surfaces where wider tape would overhang or waste material. Supplied in cases of 6 adapters. Compatible with the ATG 700 applicator only.

Safe Handling During Operation

• The adhesive transfer tape bonds on contact with most surfaces. Avoid unintended contact between the tape and surfaces not intended for bonding during application.
• Keep the applicator and tape rolls away from dusty environments during storage, as contamination of the adhesive surface before bonding can reduce bond strength.
• Do not apply excessive force to the trigger. Controlled, steady trigger pressure produces the most consistent bead placement and liner rewind performance.

Maintenance and Storage

• If adhesive contamination is found on the applicator body or roller surfaces, wipe clean with a dry or lightly dampened lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents on plastic components.
• Inspect the rewind spool and gear area periodically for liner buildup. Excess liner accumulation in the rewind spool can cause the liner to back up and jam the feed mechanism.
• Store the applicator with a tape roll loaded to prevent dust from entering the tape path. If storing without a roll, cover the tape inlet to protect internal components.
• Store tape rolls in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat. Elevated temperatures can affect adhesive performance before the tape is applied.
