  • Adjustable concentration

Product Description

ABchimie CIPEX 52 is a low‑foaming concentrated cleaner designed for dilution (typically 20% active solution using 80% deionised water). It is formulated for powerful cleaning of flux residues, solder pastes, and contaminants on SMT stencils, PCBs, and production equipment. CIPEX 52 is suitable for ultrasonic systems, batch dishwasher‑type equipment, and in‑line pressure spray wash systems. CIPEX 52 is compliant with REACH and RoHS regulations.

Product Key Features

  • Concentrated aqueous blend of solvents and organic saponifiers
  • Low‑foaming formula ideal for ultrasonic and spray wash systems
  • Excellent performance on reflowed solder pastes and flux residues
  • Strong material compatibility with plastics and metals
  • Adjustable concentration depending on cleaning needs

Applications

  • Ultrasonic cleaning of stencils, PCBs, and SMT tools
  • Pressure spray washing (batch dishwasher and in‑line systems)

Specific Gravity
Specific Gravity
Specific gravity (SG) is the ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance; equivalently, it is the ratio of the mass of a substance to the mass of a reference substance for the same given volume.

For liquids, the reference substance is almost always water (1), while for gases, it is air (1.18) at room temperature. Specific gravity is unitless.

Flash Point
Flash Point
The flashpoint of a solvent is the lowest possible temperature at which it can vaporize to form an ignitable vapor.

Flashpoint is often confused with “autoignition temperature”, which is the temperature at which a solvent ignites without an ignition source.

Additional Information

Cleaning Variables

Cleaning performance depends on:

  • Type of flux or solder paste
  • Reflow profile used
  • Age and hardness of residues
  • Operating temperature and cleaner concentration
  • Equipment type (spray pressure, ultrasonic intensity)

Instructions for Use

Dishwasher systems

  • Use at a concentration of 20% in DI water with a typical wash cycle of 10 mins at 40 – 50℃, tap water rinse for 5 mins at ambient temperature, DI water rinse 5 mins at 45oC, drying at 70°C.

Ultrasonics

  • Use at a concentration of 20% . Typical cleaning times are 15 mins at 40-50oC, tap water rinse 5 mins at ambient temperature, DI water rinse 5 mins at 45°C, drying at 70oC
