Product Description

LOCTITE 401 is a general-purpose, fast-curing, instant adhesive that is ideal for use on porous substrates. LOCTITE® 401™is designed for the assembly of difficult-to-bond materials which require uniform stress distribution and strong tension and/or shear strength. The product provides rapid bonding of a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, and elastomers. LOCTITE® 401™is also suited for bonding porous materials such as wood, paper, leather, and fabric.

Fixture Time

The rate of cure will depend on the substrate used, ranging from less than 5 seconds @ Room temperature for the majority of substrates to 15 - 30 seconds on wood and leather.
